Job summary

Market Street Staffing is seeking a qualified NP or PA for a long-term locum tenens assignment in Spokane, WA. The role includes inpatient, OR and call coverage with EPIC EMR, requires WA licensure and board certification, and offers a 1099 independent contractor arrangement.

Responsibilities include daily rounding, medication management, consults, patient assessments, and developing treatment plans. Credentialing typically completes in 60–90 days, with a Monday–Friday schedule and shifts

PracticeSetting:

• Inpatient, OR and Call coverage
• Cases include:
• Robotic lobectomy and thymectomy
• CABG
• AVR/TAVR
• MVR/MVr
• Thoracotomy and VATS
• LVAD implantation
• Aortic dissection repair
• ECMO
• Responsibilities include:
• Daily rounding and progress notes
• Medication management
• Consults and Consult Notes
• FA in cases including EVH (Maquet Hemopro 2 Vasoview)
• GSV and radial
• Practice includes 4 Surgeons and 4 APPs

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, 7:00a-5:00p
• January 11 - February 1
• February 8 - March 1
• April 5 - April 30
• May 10 - May 31

EMR: EPIC

Credentialing: 60-90 days

Requirements:

• Active Washington licensure
• Board certification
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum1-year Cardiothoracic Surgyer experience or equivalent

Education:

Licenses& Certifications:

• Activeand unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse(APRN) license in Washington
• Nationalcertification as an NP in a relevant specialty area by arecognized certifying body (e.g., American Academy ofNurse Practitioners [AANP])
• Activeand unencumbered physician assistant (PA) license in Washington
• Nationalcertification from the National Commission onCertification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)

Experience:

• Whilespecific requirements may vary, most locum APP positionsprefer candidates with at least one year of experiencein a clinical setting relevant to their specialty

Travel:
