Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) for locum tenens in Spokane, WA. Start ASAP with day shifts 7:00 AM–5:00 PM and night/weekend on-call commitments.

Cases include robotic lobectomy, thymectomy, CABG, and valve procedures using the DaVinci Xi robot; must have WA license or IMLC, BLS, and be Board certified or eligible. Epic EMR used for documentation; credentialing in 60–90 days.

Qualifications

• Active Washington license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Credentialing timeframe 60–90 days; expedited privileges possible with clear history.
• Inpatient cardiothoracic surgery experience with robotic cases (DaVinci Xi).

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiothoracic surgical assistance in an inpatient setting.
• Support robotic lobectomy, thymectomy, CABG, valve procedures as needed.
• Assist with perioperative care and patient management during shifts.

This facility is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

• Schedule: Day schedule: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Night call: 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Weekend call: Friday 5:00 PM - Monday 7:00 AM
• Job Setting: Inpatient
• Types of cases: Robotic Lobectomy and Thymectomy using the Davinci Xi Robot, Coronary, Artery Bypass Grafting, Aortic Valve Replacement
• Credentialing Timeframe:60-90 days; a clean history can qualify for expedited privileges
• Electronic Medical Record(EMR): Epic
• License required: Must have an active Washington license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
• Certifications required: Board Certified, will accept Board Eligible, must have Basic Life Support (BLS)
