Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a Locums PA for Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery in Washington. Enjoy 10-hour shifts (7 am–5 pm) in Spokane, with OR, ICU, and stepdown coverage. First assist in all cardiothoracic procedures required, including CABG, valve, TAVR, VATS, LVAD, and ECMO. Robotic DaVinci Xi experience preferred.

Weekly call duties apply; competitive compensation with benefits and support from Weatherby consultants.

Qualifications

• Active PA license for Washington or eligibility to obtain
• Experience as a first assist in cardiothoracic procedures
• Robotic-assisted surgery experience preferred (DaVinci Xi)
• CABG, valve, TAVR, VATS, LVAD, ECMO experience required

Responsibilities

• Provide OR, ICU, and stepdown unit coverage
• First assist in all cardiothoracic procedures
• Work in OR, ICU, and STEP-DOWN unit settings
• Support robotic and open procedures as needed

$100 - $130/hr

• Spokane, WA
• 7 am – 5 pm, 10-hour shifts — ongoing assignment
• Variable patients per shift across OR and ICU settings
• Hospital-based role — OR, ICU, and stepdown unit coverage
• First assist in all cardiothoracic procedures required
• EVH and RAH using Maquet System (Hemopro 2 Vasoview) required
• Experience with robotic procedures — DaVinci Xi Robot required
• CABG, valve, TAVR, VATS, LVAD, ECMO experience required
• Weekday call: 5 pm – 7 am every third day; weekend call every fourth
