Job summary

Atrium Health Sanger Heart and Vascular Institute in Charlotte, NC is seeking a full-time advanced practice provider to join an OR-only Cardiothoracic surgery team. This role emphasizes operative first-assist in cardiac procedures and EVH proficiency, with independence in the OR and inpatient settings.

The position requires CTS experience and NC/SC licensure, plus prescriptive privileges and DEA. A $90,000 sign-on bonus is offered, paid in four installments, with expectations for weekend/holiday

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program, with licensure in NC/SC.
• Prescriptive privileges and DEA license required; BLS/ACLS current.
• CTS experience including cardiac first-assist and EVH proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-assist in a wide range of cardiac procedures.
• Perform EVH and arterial harvesting as applicable.
• Coordinate and deliver comprehensive cardiac patient care with the team.
• Educate APP students and new hires; participate in required meetings.
