Job summary

Atrium Health’s Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute in Charlotte, NC, is seeking an OR‑only Cardiothoracic Surgical APP with independent operative first‑assist capability. You will support a busy CTS program, including EVH and arterial harvesting, in partnership with a supervising physician.

Candidates should have 3+ years CTS experience, EVH proficiency, and NC/SC licensure. A $90,000 sign‑on bonus is offered, with weekend, holiday, and on‑call duties on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program; must be licensed to practice in NC/SC.
• Minimum 3+ years CTS experience including EVH proficiency.
• Prescriptive privileges and DEA license required; BLS/ACLS must be current.

Responsibilities

• Provide first assist in a wide range of cardiac surgical procedures.
• Perform endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) and arterial harvesting where applicable.
• Work in OR and inpatient settings with a supervising physician and multidisciplinary team.
