Job summary

Atrium Health Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a full-time advanced practice provider for an OR-only Cardiothoracic team. This role offers autonomous in-hospital and OR practice with a supervising physician and a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include NP/PA program completion, NC licensure, DEA, and CTS experience with EVH. A $90,000 sign-on bonus is offered, payable in four annual installments.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program and NC licensure.
• Demonstrated CTS experience with cardiac first-assist & EVH proficiency.
• Active prescriptive privileges and DEA license; BLS/ACLS valid.

Responsibilities

• Provide first assistance in a wide range of cardiac surgical procedures.
• Perform endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) and arterial harvesting where applicable.
• Coordinate perioperative care with a multidisciplinary team and supervising physician.
• Work in OR and inpatient hospital settings with independent practice.
