Qualifications

• 4 years related experience or Bachelor's degree in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, supervision, and administration of educational programs for the department, including medical student education, graduate medical education, internship training, residency training, and postdoctoral fellowship programs.
• May supervise clerical and administrative staff; oversee training and orientation of staff; determine work priorities; evaluate work progress and production.
• Develops and oversees budgets related to the education office, including expenditures for salaries, stipends and operational costs; tracks expenditures and distributes funding.
• Creates, reviews, and maintains policies and procedures to ensure compliance with university and accrediting standards; interprets policy for faculty, staff, residents, fellows, and students.
• Maintains records and documentation of program participants; prepares complex reports and surveys for university administration and accrediting agencies.
• Manages recruitment and admission activities of the unit, including brochures/recruitment materials, interview process, applicant records, and admissions reports.
• Ensures internal controls are in place to provide assurance that operations are effective, assets safeguarded, and financial information is reliable.
• Ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• May process online forms for payroll, leave requests, malpractice insurance payments, supply ordering, and other operation needs; assists supervisor with budgeting.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
