Job summary

Mayo Clinic Rochester, MN is seeking an Education Coordinator to coordinate the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of educational activities to develop, maintain and enhance clinical and educational skills of personnel within the laboratory. You will work closely with the management team to address educational and technical needs and may provide training across departments.

Qualifications

Requires a four-year degree in health-related or education field plus one year of Cardiology experience.
Or a minimum of 5–7 years of experience in Cardiology.
Must be able to interpret ECG.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of educational activities to develop, maintain and enhance clinical and educational skills of personnel within the laboratory.
Work closely with the management team regarding educational and technical needs of the department and provide training across departments as needed.
Serve as a technical and public relations liaison and resource for laboratory computer systems and support quality measures and quality improvements.
Develop and maintain cardiac education curriculum for internal staff and external customers.
