Atrium Health in Albemarle, NC is seeking a Respiratory Care Supervisor to coordinate and supervise the cardiopulmonary staff, ensuring care aligns with physician orders or protocols, and to oversee staff orientation and ongoing education.

The position leads equipment and supply management, maintains compliance with JCAHO standards, and participates in departmental goal setting while providing direct patient care as needed.

Formación

• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Care.
• Current state license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• RRT credential and active BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates and supervises clinical activities of the cardiopulmonary staff.
• Ensures quality of care per physician orders or protocol.
• Conducts orientation for new employees and coordinates continual staff education.
• Maintains and evaluates supplies and equipment.
• Ensures compliance with JCAHO standards and clinical policies.
• Assists in developing and implementing departmental goals.
• Provides direct patient care as needed.
