Atrium Health Stanly is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Services leader to supervise the cardiopulmonary staff, ensuring care meets physician orders and established protocols. The role includes orientation, ongoing education, equipment management, and policy compliance within the department.

Required: AMA-approved Respiratory Care program, RRT certification, state licensure, and BLS; two years in a Respiratory Care Department (five years with RRT) and a Bachelor's degree preferred.

Competenze

• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Care.
• RRT certification required by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• Currently licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner for the state.
• Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy with 2 years in a Respiratory Care Department, or RRT equivalent with 5 years in Respiratory Care.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• BLS for healthcare providers required; advanced certifications per facility policy.

Mansioni

• Coordinate and supervise clinical activities of the cardiopulmonary staff.
• Ensure quality of care is in line with physician orders or protocol.
• Conduct staff orientation and ongoing education.
• Maintain and evaluate supplies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with JCAHO standards and departmental policies.
• Contribute to development and implementation of departmental goals.
• Provide direct patient care as needed.

Formazione

AMA-approved school of Respiratory Care

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification

Respiratory Care Practitioner license

Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
