Job summary

Berkshire Medical Center is seeking a Cardiovascular Office Coordinator to manage in-patient and out-patient cardiology testing requests. You will develop seamless scheduling processes, inform customers of testing timelines, and support department leadership.

You will triage requests, supervise administrative functions, and ensure accurate patient registration in Meditech, while contributing to patient billing and overall service quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in a busy physician office/clinical setting.
• Experience handling multiple telephone lines required.
• Excellent clerical/organizational skills required.
• CPR certification required; Meditech terminology knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all administrative office functions for the Cardiovascular Department.
• Triage requests and streamline communications among healthcare team.
• Verify demographic and insurance information and ensure proper registration in Meditech.
• Assist with patient billing and reporting; handle scheduling and problem resolution.
