Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute is seeking a scheduling coordinator to register patients, schedule cardiology appointments, and coordinate care across office visits and imaging. You will support patients by gathering demographic and financial information and communicating with providers and staff across departments.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience in retail, hospitality or related fields.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Schedule/coordinate cardiology appointments in the office including office visits, support care visits and diagnostic imaging.
• Gather and input patient/guarantor demographic and financial information.
• Provide accurate information of department/procedure specific scheduling criteria.
• Communicate regularly with providers, nurses, patients and other departments.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality per Orlando Health policies.
• Assist in care and maintenance of department supplies and equipment.
