Foundation Health Partners is seeking a Registration Representative in Cardiology to greet patients, gather demographics, verify insurance, and schedule diagnostic and procedure appointments with accuracy.

The role includes training new team members, resolving scheduling issues, and collaborating with clinical staff to optimize patient flow. Full-time, 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri, with comprehensive benefits in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three or more years of medical clerical experience preferred.
• Ability to float within two or more clinic areas.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance/payer requirements.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient with common office software tools.

Responsibilities

• Register and schedule patient appointments; collect demographics and verify insurance.
• Process STAT orders: scheduling, pre-registration, authorization, and documentation.
• Collect and process co-pays and payments as needed.
• Serve as point of contact for escalated patient concerns; resolve issues.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and data sharing.
• Monitor voicemails and route to the appropriate team; maintain accurate records.
• Organize and route documents in RightFax; ensure proper categorization.
• Mentor and train registration/scheduling staff for consistency and accuracy.
• Maintain waitlist and assist with scheduling and pre-registration tasks.
• Ensure compliance with policies and participate in audits and reporting.
