Job summary

SWICFT Cardiology in downtown Naples is seeking a motivated Medical Assistant to support a busy cardiology practice. You will assist clinicians, room patients, perform ECG and Holter monitoring, and handle administrative tasks. A proactive team player with strong communication and confidentiality is essential.

The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and the ability to work across clinical and administrative duties in a fast-paced environment. BLS certification and EMR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior medical office experience.
• Proficient computer skills with knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR).
• Athenahealth experience is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and organized.
• Ability to work as a member of a team.
• Current BLS.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians with patient care and rooming patients.
• Perform ECG, Holter and event monitor procedures and document results.
• Handle electronic prescription refills and phone triage.
• Cross-train across duties with team members.
