Job summary

Cleveland Clinic West Palm Beach is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the Cardiology team. You will assist with patient care, medication management, and administrative tasks while helping create a welcoming environment for patients and families.

The role offers day shifts from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and opportunities to expand skills within one of the world’s leading health systems.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved medical assisting program.
• Completion of a clinical externship or extensive clinical experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through AHA or Red Cross within new hire period.
• Current demonstrated clinical proficiency.
• EPIC experience preferred (outpatient).

Responsibilities

• Assist with screenings and treatments by collecting health information and updating meds and allergies.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Maintain equipment, supplies and examination areas.
• Perform administrative/clerical duties such as scheduling, data entry and patient registration.
