Job summary

ProMedica is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to greet and register patients in a cardiology practice, answer calls, and manage appointment scheduling. You will support the clinical team with outbound patient communications and help maintain the provider's calendar.

Ideal candidates will have at least a high school diploma and 1 year of customer service or clerical experience, with preference for associates degree and medical terminology knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a customer service or clerical setting.
• Prior healthcare setting experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and billing/referral procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and answer phones.
• Schedule and reschedule patient appointments and maintain the provider's schedule.
• Assist clinical staff with outgoing patient calls as needed.
• Provide a courteous, welcoming experience at every patient interaction.
