Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year experience in a customer service or clerical setting.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, third party billing and referral procedures.
• 3 years' experience in a clerical or office function.
• 1 year experience in a medical office setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, answer phone calls and take messages.
• Schedule and reschedule patient appointments and maintain the provider's schedule.
• Assist the clinical staff with outgoing calls to patients, pharmacies or other providers as needed.
