Job summary

ProMedica in Perrysburg, OH is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator in Internal Medicine. You will greet and register patients, answer phone calls, schedule and reschedule appointments, and maintain the provider's calendar to keep daily operations running smoothly.

You will assist the clinical staff with outgoing calls to patients, pharmacies or other providers as needed, delivering friendly, efficient front-desk service and support to patients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year experience in a customer service or clerical setting.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, third party billing and referral procedures preferred.
• Experience with EPIC EMS preferred.
• 3 years' experience in a clerical or office function preferred.
• 1 year experience in a medical office setting preferred.
