Job summary

ProMedica is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator for its Internal Medicine – Family practice in Perrysburg, OH. You will greet and register patients, answer calls, take messages, and schedule or reschedule appointments, while maintaining the provider's schedule.

You will support the clinical team with outreach to patients, pharmacies, and other providers as needed. A high school diploma and at least 1 year in customer service or clerical work are required; an Associate degree and EPIC EMS

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of customer service or clerical experience.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, third party billing and referral procedures preferred.
• Experience with EPIC EMS preferred.
• 3 years in a clerical or office function preferred.
• 1 year experience in a medical office setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, answer calls, take messages, and schedule appointments.
• Maintain the provider's schedule and calendar.
• Assist clinical staff with outbound calls to patients, pharmacies, or other providers.
• Support office functions and contribute to patient satisfaction.
