Cardiac Associates of New Jersey is seeking a motivated Patient Service Representative to join our rapidly growing practice. You will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure smooth office operations.

Responsibilities include managing appointments, verifying insurance details, maintaining records in the EHR, and coordinating with medical staff to deliver a seamless patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional medical office certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as receptionist or customer service in healthcare.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with scheduling software and EHR systems.
• Athena experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front desk operations of the cardiology practice.
• Greet patients and visitors; assist check-in and verify information.
• Manage appointment calendar and coordinate new/return visits.
• Answer calls and emails professionally; assist with prescriptions.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in the EHR system.
