Job summary

Mercy Health in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support the Kenwood Cardiology team. You will work with the primary physician to review health records, measure vital signs, and prepare treatment areas for examinations.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and MA certification. BLS/CPR may be required, with 1 year MA or clerical experience preferred. This is a day shift, 40-hour week, on-site opportunity with Mercy Health.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active Medical Assisting certification required or ABR-OE acceptable in some states.
• BLS/CPR certification may be required at hire.
• One year of MA or clerical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and community in a respectful manner.
• Reviews and updates patient charts for upcoming visits.
• Measures vital signs including pulse, respiration, BP, weight, height.
• Performs clerical duties: inventory, referrals, phones.
• Works with physician to ensure proper patient flow and safety.
• Other duties as assigned.
