Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Hyannis is seeking a Clinic/Practice Assistant to support the Cardiology practice on-site, Monday through Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm. The role combines administrative and light clinical duties to enhance patient experience and smooth clinic operations.

Primary responsibilities include scheduling, check-in/out, billing, and coordinating with healthcare teams. A HS diploma and healthcare office experience are required, with a 40-hour work week and on-site location in Hyannis, MA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Healthcare office experience 0-1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make patient appointments and maintain appointment records.
• Greet and assist patients.
• Answer telephones, assist callers with routine inquiries, and schedule appointments.
• Process patient billing forms and scan documents to patient medical record/LMR.
• Call for patient medical records and laboratory test results.
• Open and distribute mail or faxes.
• Type forms, records, schedules, memos, etc., as directed.
• May monitor patients in waiting room and respond to any needs for information.
• Assists in patient flow processes.
