Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Hiram, GA is seeking a FT Clinical Charge Audit Analyst to support clinical documentation improvement, coding and charge entry for Cath Lab and EP procedures.

You will review records, educate staff on coding changes, build charge codes, and collaborate with Compliance, RMD, CTO and HIM to ensure accurate reimbursement and regulatory compliance. This role requires detailed knowledge of ICD-10, CPT-4, HCPCS and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years acute care coding or billing or charge capture experience.
• Minimum 5 years Clinical Interventional Cardiovascular/EP, IR and/or Surgical experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word; ability to document clearly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform charge reconciliation daily to ensure proper billing of supplies and procedures.
• Review procedural documentation and codes for accuracy to support compliant billing.
• Educate physicians and staff on coding changes to ensure proper ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding.
• Collaborate with EPIC Cupid team to develop templates and procedures for staff.
• Assist with training and orientation of new staff on charging procedures.
