Corewell Health is hiring for part-time day and night positions at the Meijer Heart Center in Grand Rapids. The unit provides cardio-thoracic post-operative care with rotation and orientation on weekdays, followed by regular shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• BLS/ACLS within 90 days as required.
• Direct patient care experience preferred.
• Availability to orient on weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals and monitor patient status.
• Check blood sugars and provide basic care.
• Assist with bed baths and ambulation.
• Provide wound care and catheter care as needed.
• Serve as safety attendant and document care timely.
• Coordinate with RN/Providers to deliver quality care.
• Record observations and essential patient information.
