Job summary
Corewell Health is offering a Weekend Only Program for RNs at the Meijer Heart Center in Grand Rapids. Eligible RNs work 0.9 FTE with two 12-hour weekend shifts, earning an extra $10 per hour on top of base pay plus shift differentials. Weekend work requires 48 of 52 weekends per year, Friday/Saturday nights.
The unit focuses on cardiac/vascular care in a 46-bed progressive/stepdown setting, with strong teamwork and ongoing staff development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Associates in Nursing required.
- Bachelor's in Nursing required within 5 years MI.
- Registered Nurse (RN) required.
- BLS (AHA) required within 90 days.
- ACLS required within 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process.
- Deliver care under Nurse Leader direction per Corewell Health policies.
- Collaborate with patients and families to plan and teach care.
