Job summary

Corewell Health's Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids is seeking a Part-time Nurse Tech for the 6 MHC Progressive Care Unit Cardiac Vascular. You will assist with taking and charting vitals, blood sugars, wound care, ambulation, and patient safety, while floating to similar units as needed.

Orientation spans the first three weeks, including weekday classes and a 4-hour sheath removal skill, with hands-on practice to become competent.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in direct patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take and chart vitals and blood sugars, assist with basic patient care.
• Assist during cardiac/vascular procedures and post-op care per unit guidelines.
• Support mobility, safety, documentation and care coordination with RN/Providers.
