Corewell Health's 7 Meijer Heart Center is a 46-bed stepdown/progressive care unit focusing on cardio-thoracic postoperative patients. Our Nurse Techs support medical, physical, and emotional needs, handling vitals, hygiene, ambulation, wound care, catheterization, and safety tasks.

We seek part-time team members available for variable weekdays, with a focus on documentation and teamwork alongside RNs and providers. Comprehensive benefits and supportive work culture are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days.
• Experience in direct patient care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals and monitor blood sugars.
• Bed bathing and ambulating patients.
• Wound care and catheterization as needed.
• Act as a safety attendant for patients.
• Document care accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with RNs and Providers to deliver quality care.
