Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Part Time Patient Care Technician for the Cardiovascular Medical Surgical Telemetry unit in Glenview. The role involves evening shifts with rotating weekends, 24 hours per week, and duties under RN/LPN supervision to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include hourly rounding, patient handling, ADLs, and admissions/discharges support. Requires CNA training preferred and flexibility to work evenings at Glenbrook Hospital.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork and communication.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and follow directions.
• CNA training or nursing clinical rotation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and visitors; respond to call lights and questions.
• Assist with ambulation and safe patient handling under RN/LPN supervision.
• Provide ADL support and basic nursing care (bathing, grooming, feeding, toileting).
• Assist in admissions, discharges and transfers; escort patients as needed.
• Document patient care activities and vital signs per policy.
