Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and visitors; answer call lights and phones, perform hourly rounding.
• Assist in safe handling, ambulation and transfers using Safe Patient Handling equipment.
• Provide basic nursing care: bathing, grooming, feeding, bed making, and patient comfort.
• Assist with admission, discharge, and room orientation; transport patients as needed.
• Record patient care activities, vital signs, intake/output, and nursing notes.
