Job summary

Capital Health, a leader in advanced patient care, seeks a Telemetry Tech to support the care team on the unit. You will monitor cardiac rhythms, prepare charts, and collaborate with nurses to ensure timely data capture and patient safety.

Requirements include a high school diploma, phlebotomy/EKG training, and AHA BLS. The role entails 36-hour weeks, day shifts, and rotating weekends, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy, EKG training, glucometer monitoring and related technical duties within 4 months after hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; CRAT or CET within 18 months.
• AHA BLS certification required or obtained.

Responsibilities

• Assist professional staff in delivering indirect patient care on telemetry units.
• Observe and report cardiac monitor patterns; record rhythm strips and data.
• Attach electrodes, troubleshoot signal loss, monitor patient movements.
• Perform phlebotomy, glucometer testing and basic EKG duties as required.
• Support CPR efforts under RN/MD supervision and handle clerical tasks as needed.
