Requirements include a high school diploma, CRAT/CET within 18 months, and AHA BLS. Candidates with prior cardiac telemetry experience are preferred; on-site work with rotating shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency; CRAT or CET within 18 months of hire.
• Experience as cardiac patient technician preferred.
• BLS certification required; other credentials as noted in job posting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry patterns and assist with patient care under supervision.
• Collaborate with RN to document rhythm interpretations and save data.
• Apply electrodes every 24 hours and track patient movements on telemetry.
• Print, mount and file rhythm strips in patient charts.
• Perform Phlebotomy, glucometer testing and EKG tasks as required.
• Stock Phlebotomy and IV supplies; record vital signs per unit protocol.
• Assist with CPR under direction of RN or Physician; perform clerical tasks as needed.
