Responsibilities

• Place patients on telemetry with proper skin prep and electrode placement.
• Maintain rhythm strips and monitoring logs per unit policy.
• Notify RN/physician for life‑threatening arrhythmias and initiate Code Blue as needed.
• Document patient identifiers and transmitter numbers accurately each shift.
• Troubleshoot telemetry equipment and ensure clean work environment.
