Capital Health seeks a dedicated Telemetry Monitor Technician to support inpatient care in Hopewell, VA. You will place patients on telemetry, maintain rhythm strips, and liaise with nurses and physicians to ensure safe patient monitoring and timely response to abnormalities.

Required are a high school diploma, CRAT or CET within 18 months, prior monitor clerk experience, and AHA BLS certification. Full-time role with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• CRAT (cert rhythm analysis tech) or CET (cert EKG tech) within 18 months of hire.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Non-Licensed must obtain before end of orientation period.

Responsabilités

• Place patients on telemetry equipment and ensure clear wave forms.
• Maintain rhythm strips and logs; notify nurses of abnormalities.
• Troubleshoot and maintain telemetry equipment and supplies.
• Assist in admitting/discharging patients from telemetry system.
• Communicate patient rhythm data to physicians and staff as needed.
