Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• May require up to 1 year of technical or other specialized training in anatomy physiology and electrocardiographic interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Observe patient ECG and basic hemodynamic parameters.
• Set up telemetry units for new admissions from ER/ICU/OR.
• Report unusual readings to medical staff.
• Document monitoring information for each patient and shift.
• Place and remove monitors; set alarm parameters.
• Assist with patient billing by documenting and admitting/discharging in the system.
