Job summary

NorthShore University HealthSystem is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Medical Stroke Telemetry unit at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview. This part-time night-shift role (11pm–7:30am) involves 24 hours per week with rotating weekends.

Primary responsibilities include direct patient care, hourly rounding, safety, and assisting nursing staff under RN/LPN supervision. The ideal candidate will have CNA training preferred, US work eligibility, BLS certification, and strong teamwork and

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the US; CNA training preferred; nursing clinical rotation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and visitors, answer call lights and phones, assist visitors; perform hourly rounding on all assigned patients.
• Learn patient safe handling and assist in ambulation and transferring patients under RN/LPN direction; use Safe Patient Handling equipment.
