Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Cardiac Post Procedural Medical Telemetry unit at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview, IL. This full-time role supports RN/LPN with patient care tasks, vital signs, and patient safety in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Experience with CNA training is preferred; onboarding includes comprehensive orientation and ongoing professional development. The position offers day shifts with rotating weekends and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, ability to prioritize, ability to receive and follow through on directions.
• Demonstrates concern for and commitment to the welfare of our patient and families.
• Required to attend an in-depth orientation regarding patient care skill tasks.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and visitors, answering patient call lights, answering phones, assisting visitors within the facility; perform hourly rounding on all patients.
• Provide basic nursing care: ADLs, bathing, grooming, oral care, feeding, linen care, bed making under RN/LPN supervision.
• Assist with admission, discharge, transfers; transport patients safely and orient to room.
• Document vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other care activities as directed.
• Assist with procedures (ECGs, wound care, catheter care) under nurse direction.
• Support department tasks: restock equipment, restock supplies, answer calls and relay messages.
