Endeavor Health is hiring a Patient Care Technician for Cardiac Post Procedural Medical Telemetry at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview, IL. The role is full-time with a day shift and rotating weekends, 32 hours per week.

The PCT supports RN/LPN staff by performing essential patient care tasks, including ADLs, vital signs, and routine procedures, while ensuring safety and compassionate patient interactions in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Customer service orientation and patient focus.
• Ability to follow direction and maintain safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and visitors, answer call lights and phones.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and ADLs under RN/LPN supervision.
• Provide basic nursing care such as bathing, grooming, feeding, and positioning.
• Assist with admission, discharge, and transfers, and orient patients to rooms.
• Document patient care activities and vital signs as required.
• Support nursing staff with restocking equipment and supplies.
• Perform unit support tasks like calls, filings, and delivering supplies.
