Job summary

Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, IL, is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support the Med Surg team. The role involves direct patient care, routine tasks, and collaboration with RNs on admissions, rounds, and discharge planning.

Hours are 36 per week across three overnight shifts (1830-0700). Must obtain BLS within 45 days and hold Nurse Aide certification as applicable by state nursing registry.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, hygiene, feeding, mobility).
• Record vitals and input data into EMR.
• Perform rounding and communicate needs to RN.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharge procedures.
