• The Echo Tech performs transthoracic echocardiography, stress test echocardiography, Transesophageal echocardiography and other non-invasive cardio-diagnostic procedures including 12 lead ECG, holter hook up, event monitor hook up, stress testing and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Professional/Educational
• Associates Degree preferred in Cardiac Sonography from a CAAHEP accredited school.
• Credentialed as a member of the Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) granted by the registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) granted by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
• Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
• Previous Echo Sonographer experience required.
• DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.
• Personal
• Evidence of good health, grooming and professional conduct.
• Desire and ability to cooperate with or under the direction of others.
• Possess a sense of responsibility, initiative and honesty.
• Ability to follow directions accurately.
• Excellent Communication Skills.
