Position: Echo Tech

The Echo Tech performs transthoracic echocardiography, stress test echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, and other non-invasive cardio-diagnostic procedures including 12-lead ECG, holter hookup, event monitor hookup, stress testing, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Professional/Educational

• Associates Degree preferred in Cardiac Sonography from a CAAHEP-accredited school.
• Credentialed as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by ARDMS or a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by CCI.
• Certified in CPR by the American Heart Association.
• Previous Echo Sonographer experience required.
• DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.

• Good health, grooming, and professional conduct.
• Ability to cooperate and work under supervision.
• Responsibility, initiative, honesty.
• Ability to follow directions accurately.
