Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital in Conyers, GA is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonography professional to operate ultrasound equipment and perform diagnostic exams. You will provide patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations while working closely with radiologists and other staff.

Qualifications include graduation from a JRCERT-approved program, ARDMS/ARRT/CCI certification within 6 months, and BLS certification. Prior ARDMS/RVS/RTV preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
• Must become ARDMS/ARRT/CCI certified within 6 months of employment.
• BLS certification is required.
• Registered ARDMS, or ARRT and/or RVS/RVT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures per established standards.
• Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
• Provides patient care to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.
