Job summary

Piedmont Newnan Hospital is seeking a professional to operate ultrasound equipment and perform diagnostic ultrasound exams in accordance with established standards. The role includes patient services and cross-sectional anatomy knowledge across neonatal to geriatrics.

The ideal candidate has graduate of AMA-approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program with BCLS certification; no prior experience required. BLS upon hire is required; Piedmont offers collaborative culture and growth opportunities.

• BCLS (Basic Life Support) required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures.
• Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
• Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
• Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.
