Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Technician to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and invasive procedures in a collaborative radiology team. You will provide patient services, apply knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, and care for neonatal to geriatric patients onsite.

The role emphasizes communication with staff and radiologists, with197 a commitment to high-quality imaging and patient-centered care at Piedmont.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program Required.
• No experience required.
• BLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.
• Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
• Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
• Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.
