Piedmont Newton Hospital is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to perform clinical ultrasound exams and invasive procedures with a focus on patient care. You will use ultrasound equipment and contribute to accurate diagnoses across all age groups.
Requirements include graduation from an AMA approved program, 1 year of cardiac sonography experience, and BCLS plus RCS/ARDCS/CCI credentials. This full-time role supports a busy radiology department and weekend/rotate shifts.
The hours are every other Friday/Saturday/Sunday/Monday, 12 hour shifts either 6a-6p or 7a-7p, and EVERY Wednesday 12 hr shifts

Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.
