Job summary

Mercy Health in Paducah, KY seeks a Cardiac Sonographer Registered at Lourdes Hospital to perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography and cardiac stress testing. The role requires BLS and ARDMS/CCI credentialing, with at least one year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a health science field with a cardiovascular focus (preferred).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
• RDCS or RCS credential from ARDMS/CCI required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic echocardiography examinations using ultrasound equipment: transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress tests.
• Demonstrate ability to perform non-invasive and invasive cardiac exams.
• Prepare and monitor patients before and during procedures; document findings in the EMR.
• On-call hours required.
