Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Cardiac Sonographer at St. Charles Hospital to perform diagnostic, non-invasive and invasive cardiac exams using ultrasound equipment. Responsibilities include TTE/TEE and stress testing, patient preparation and EMR documentation.

Requirements include 1+ year of experience (preferred), BLS, and RDCS/RCS credentials (preferred). On-call hours apply; join a faith-based, patient-focused team with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in cardiovascular technology or related field (preferred).
• BLS certification required.
• RDCS or RCS credentialing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic echocardiography examinations including TTE, TEE, and stress testing.
• Prepare and monitor patients before and during procedures.
• Document findings in the EMR and communicate results to the care team.
• On-call hours required.
