Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Georgia is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to operate ultrasound equipment for diagnostic exams and routine invasive procedures. You will provide patient services, apply knowledge of anatomy and pathology, and care for neonatal to geriatric patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA-approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• No experience required.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic exams and routine invasive procedures per established standards.
• Provides patient services using ultrasound equipment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
• Provides patient care to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.

Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.
