Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. in Orlando, FL seeks a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU). The position is part-time with two 12-hour night shifts and rotating weekends.

The CPCU handles Level II cardiac services for adults, including acute heart failure and arrhythmias. Qualified candidates hold an approved nursing degree, a FL RN license (or valid eNLC), BLS certification, and at least 1 year of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate license (must have passed NCLEX).
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• 1+ year RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and develops individualized plan of care.
• Evaluates patient progress toward expected outcomes.
• Communicates and collaborates with medical staff and interdisciplinary team.
• Acts as a patient and family advocate.
• Serves as a preceptor, charge nurse, unit educator, and/or nurse clinician.
• Coordinates care and delegates tasks to other team members as appropriate.
