AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PCU Neurosurgical unit. The role involves caring for patients on a 40-bed progressive care unit, with emphasis on neurosurgical cases and complex postoperative care.

The position is full-time, nights (7:00 pm–7:00 am), 36 hours weekly, and requires a valid RN license and BLS. Competitive benefits are offered, including health, dental and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing (Required).
• Bachelor's of Nursing (Preferred).
• 1+ acute care hospital setting (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental and other factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure effective teamwork.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and outcomes.
