Job summary

Banner Health in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Certified Patient Care Assistant to join our General PCU as a full-time night shift team member. The role includes routine patient care, data collection, and unit support with weekend/holiday rotations and a $3,000 sign-on bonus for CNAs.

The ideal candidate holds a CNA license in the state, BLS, and strong communication skills; prior hospital experience is preferred to support patient care and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current CNA license in state of practice required.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care to promote comfort and support the care plan.
• Collect vitals, intake/output, and other data; document in medical records.
• Communicate patient status clearly to the care team.
• Assist with ADLs, mobility, and basic hygiene.
• Support unit operations and complete clerical tasks as needed.
• Transcribe and process orders in the electronic medical record.
